It’s Corporate Monday! The start of a fresh week at work. Give it a kick start by wearing your best showing your boss and/or clients your professional look. Although I have discussed wearing brighter colors at work this spring and summer season not everyone is fortunate to do so depending on your work environment. Try staying within the neutral to black tones and incorporating pops of color in your accessories as I have done here in my shoes. You may also opt for a closed toe shoe if your office forbids open toes.

Protective Styling

Summer is nearly upon us and this is usually the time many women want to leave their hair out. While it is always nice to have your hair out, remember that too much of a good thing is bad for you. Just as we try to protect our hair in the winter the same should be said for the summer whether your natural, relaxed, short or long.

Accessorize: “Always Wear Your Crown”

wearing your crown

By: Ms. J

As women with ambition to succeed in life, we tend to let ourselves go in order to reach our goals. Most of us such as myself are goal oriented with a timeline to achieve these goals. The meticulous way in which we orchestrate our lives whether personally, professionally or both has allowed us to reach places we have only dreamed of. During this time, some of us forget to wear our crown in the process.

Work Wear Fashion Ideas

Most women feel that there are not many options available to wear to work, however I believe it more has to do with expanding your imagination to see what can and cannot be an option for work. You can be fashion forward yet appropriately dressed; here are some items to choose from. You can incorporate color in your accessories such as your shoes if not in your dress.

These dresses can be worn for many different body types, choose the one that fits you correctly not the one you think is the cutest. Just because it looks cute doesn’t necessarily mean that it would look cute on you. The least likely option might fit you the best. Try on various items and silhouettes, take pictures of the outcome and see which looks the best. If necessary have two of your closest, but honest friends to give you feedback on each picture.
