Starting a business takes dedication, passion, and determination to succeed. This week is National Small Business as we mention yesterday in our “successful & savvy” post.  In  honor of that we will be spotlighting three amazing women who showcase their business to succeed.

The first amazing sophisticated diva is  Monique Liburd:

Monique Liburd is a personal stylist living and working primarily in New York City, with clients in New York and Boston.Monique studied Fashion Merchandising at Bay State College in Boston. She is also a licensed cosmetologist and has spent more than 10 years working in the beauty industry. She has worked as a stylist for one of NYC’s top fashion tour companies; her duties included styling and providing shopping assistance for groups visiting the NYC area.
Monique specializes in entertainment and image styling; her clients include musical artists Rick Rhyme, Lee Wilson & Designer Rip and Ravish. However, she is versatile and open to working on all kinds of projects, from large-scale projects like styling groups and entertainment acts, to smaller projects like helping you find your wedding dress, your perfect jeans, or simply offering style advice. Our third amazing sophisticated diva is Shetora Edlin:

I already had the pleasure of interview Shetora Edlin an amazing friend, mother, and cook. Shetora started her own bakery company “Prissy Sweet Cake Treats” in the Washington, DC metro area.
